HopeFull

Impact

To serve children in Dayton

Region

Ohio

According to the Children’s Hunger Alliance, over 400,000 children across Ohio live in food-insecure households. Children often lack access to good and nutritious food, which is prevalent in food-insecure communities, rural areas, and food deserts. Children with little or no access to food usually go to school hungry, and this is worse on weekends and holidays.

How We Solve This Problem

HopeFull is a transformative initiative by Bread of Hope, designed to address the critical issue of food insecurity among children and youths in Ohio’s underserved communities and food deserts. Through an innovative mobile app, HopeFull connects vulnerable populations with essential foods and resources, leveraging technology to bridge the gap between surplus food supplies and those in dire need. This initiative not only facilitates the distribution of nutritious meals and food items but also serves as a platform for education on healthy eating and living. By mobilizing a network of volunteers, donors, and partners, HopeFull aims to create a sustainable ecosystem of support, ensuring every child and youth has access to the nourishment they require for a healthy, hopeful future.

Join us in fighting hunger in Ohio by donating, partnering, or volunteering.
